Various Projects

I have a number of different projects going in preparation for my cruise next spring.

• Storage under cockpit seats. Needs work on hatches, and to install drains.

• Raised cockpit floor above waterline so below waterline thru hulls could be removed and hull closed.

• Two 1.5 inch pipes installed to drain cockpit through the stern.

• Repair soft spots on port side and fore decks.

• Removed all hardware from deck to prepare for painting the boat.

• Re-bed all deck hardware.

• Build coaming boxes in cockpit.

• I am sure I am forgetting something or two.

Soggy mush. A lot of the balsa had to be scraped away from the bottom, but had totally separated from the top layer of deck.

I would never attempt this repair from below deck.

The new floor is above the waterline so it drains through the stern.
